What the heck is Ritter Sport?? Never heard of it.
German owned chocolate company. There’s a lot more ‘flavors’ over in Europe than in the US. One of my favorite chocolates, particularly the dark chocolate marzipan & strawberry creme.
It’s not bad, they make a small assortment pack that’s worth a try if you ever come across them. Interesting info…
AI Overview
Ritter Sport (History, Varieties & Marketing) – Snack History
It’s called Ritter Sport because in 1932, Clara Ritter suggested making a square chocolate bar that would fit perfectly into the pocket of a sports jacket without breaking, matching the weight of a standard long bar; the name “Sport” reflects this practical, portable design for active people.
