SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Hershey’s Gift Card Holders

Looks like, whenever I’m gloomy, I could give this to myself to cheer me up, then eat all the chocolate in one sitting, and then make myself feel bad for eating all the chocolate in one sitting. (Spotted by Robbie at Walmart Neighborhood Market.)

FAST FOOD NEWS: 7-Eleven Trolli Pineapple Lime Slurpee

Trolli Pineapple Slurpee

Last year, Trolli and 7-Eleven teamed up to offer a candy that was prominent in one of my nightmares, the James Harden Edition Sour Brite Weird Beards.

This year, the two are collaborating again to offer Trolli Sour Brite Sloths candy. The new chewy candy features Strawberry & Grape, Blue Raspberry & Berry Punch, and Pineapple & Lime flavors.

But that’s not all.

There’s a new Slurpee inspired by one of the flavors — Trolli Pineapple Lime. And, if you want something appropriate to suck up that Slurpee, a Weirdly Awesome Trolli Slurpee straw is available for purchase at $1.99. It comes with a free 2-ounce package of Trolli candy and a chance of brain freeze.

Trolli Sour Brite Sloths and the Trolli Pineapple Lime Slurpee are exclusively available at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide through April 30.

An 8-ounce serving has 56 calories, 0 grams of fat, 16 milligrams of sodium, 16 grams of carbohydrates, 16 grams of sugar, and 0 grams of protein.

If you’ve tried the Slurpee or candy, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Jack Link’s A.M.

I wish there were dried scrambled eggs and dried hash browns to go with this. (Spotted by Josh C at Walmart and Ron G at Sheetz.)

SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Hostess Limited Edition Spring CupCakes

Wow. Vanilla. Vanilla thrilla! You know what? I’ve got nothing to say. No, I’ve got something to say. I see these CupCakes and think of the potential they had. When I saw the lovely purple frosting on top, I thought, “This would’ve been great if the filling was lavender flavored.” Instead, we get vanilla. I understand. It’s got to sell. Who eats lavender-flavored sweets? I do, and they’re awesome. Come on, Hostess, be the mostess! Give me Hostess Limited Edition Spring Lavender CupCakes next year! (Spotted by Bob K at Giant Eagle.)
