COMING SOON: Reese’s Crunchy Cookie Cups

A post shared by @candyhunting on

For those of you born after the year 2000, I’m about to drop some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup history on you. There was once a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup with a chocolate cookie on the bottom. Don’t believe me? Take a look at this. Or this. Or watch this commercial for it:

The Reese’s Crunchy Cookie Cup was as if a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup was a python and it swallowed an Oreo wafer whole. But for whatever reason, it was discontinued in the late 90s.

According to junk food friend, Candy Hunting, Crunchy Cookie Reese’s Cups are returning in May. However, instead of a chocolate cookie on the bottom, there will be cookie bits in the peanut butter.
