FAST FOOD NEWS: IHOP Criss-Croissants

IHOP Criss Croissants

IHOP could’ve been like other chains and come out with their own donut-croissant hybrid. But, apparently, IHOP also stands for I Have Other Plans. Instead of a donut-croissant hybrid, IHOP has created a waffle-croissant hybrid — the Criss-Croissants.

They feature croissant dough baked in a waffle iron, then they’re filled with a sweet cream, folded over, and topped with fruit. Criss-Croissants are available in two varieties. Blackberry Lemonade features a waffled croissant filled with lemonade cream and topped with blackberries. Strawberry Rhubarb is a waffled croissant filled with sweet cream cheese and covered with a strawberry rhubarb topping.

Criss-Croissants are available as part of a breakfast combo at participating IHOP restaurants until April 5.

An egg combo with a Blackberry Lemonade Criss-Croissant has 1060 calories, 55 grams of fat, 19 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 650 milligrams of cholesterol, 1110 milligrams of sodium, 111 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of fiber, 45 grams of sugar, and 31 grams of protein.

An egg combo with a Strawberry Rhubarb has 1070 calories, 67 grams of fat, 26 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 685 milligrams of cholesterol, 1210 milligrams of sodium, 86 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of fiber, 27 grams of sugar, and 30 grams of protein.
