NEWS: Add Some Holiday Cheer To Your Burger King Meal With BK’s Gingerbread Cookie Sundae and Shake

This week, Burger King introduced two limited time only holiday desserts — the Gingerbread Cookie Sundae and Gingerbread Cookie Shake.

The Gingerbread Cookie Sundae features vanilla soft serve, topped with a gingerbread sauce and crumbled gingersnap cookies. It has a suggested retail price of $2.49. The hand-blended Gingerbread Cookie Shake is made up of vanilla soft serve and gingerbread syrup blended together with whipped topping and crumbled gingersnap cookies on top. It has a suggested retail price of $1.99.

Personally, I would’ve liked to have seen the Gingerbread Cookie Sundae feature a gingerbread man cookie dunked into the soft serve feet first to make him look like he’s lounging in the sundae.

That’s would’ve been extremely adorable.

Hey, Pizza Hut USA, I really enjoyed your Garlic Bread Pizza, but what have you done lately?

Nothing.

But your Middle Eastern counterpart has recently come up with some crazy shit. How crazy? How about a pizza with cones as the edge crust, each of which is stuffed with either cream cheese, honey mustard chicken, or chicken & cream cheese. They’ve also have Kit Kats wrapped in pizza dough. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if next month they introduced a pizza with Kit Kat stuffed crust.

Come on, Pizza Hut USA! Grow some culinary balls!

FAST FOOD NEWS: Pei Wei Asian Diner To Offer Sriracha Chicken Next Month, But Not The Sriracha You Love and Burn Your Mouth With

How to Eat Healthy at Pei Wei Menu

Pei Wei Asian Diner, P.F. Chang’s fast casual sister, will start offering their new Sriracha Chicken on October 8. To promote the spicy chicken dish, Pei Wei has put up a special website detailing how the dish was developed.

Now before you sriracha sauce fans get excited, you should know that the sauce they used isn’t the Rooster Sauce we all know, love, and burn our taste buds with. Instead, Pei Wei’s chefs flew to Thailand, a place filled with sriracha sauces we all don’t know and don’t love, to create their own sriracha sauce.

According to the Pei Wei’s Sriracha Chicken website, the dish will also feature pineapples, tomatoes, and Chinese long beans.

NEWS: Get Your Beta-Carotene On With Carl’s Jr. Sweet Potato Fries

Me likey this trend of fast food joints offering sweet potato on their menu because I love the vitamin A it contains, which gives me killer night vision, which allows me to scoff at those who need flashlights.

Wendy’s had their Baked Sweet Potato, Burger King has their Sweet Potato Fries, and now Carl’s Jr. has made available their own Sweet Potato Fries.

Although, to be honest, this whole sweet potato thing should’ve happened a long time ago.

According to Foodbeast, Carl’s Jr.’s Sweet Potato Fries are available for a limited time and won’t be available at sibling chain Hardee’s. They’re available in small, medium, and large and prices start at $1.99.

NEWS: Pizza Hut’s Garlic Bread Pizza Looks Like Gigantic Bagel Bites

Pizza Hut, Fernandina Beach, FL (Amelia Island)

Update: Click here to read our Pizza Hut Garlic Bread Pizza review

Wow. The test kitchens at Pizza Hut are quickly churning out new and interesting ways to deliver meat, cheese, and bread to our gullets. Last month, it was the P’Zolo and this month it’s their new G’rlic Bre’d pizza… I mean, Garlic Bread Pizza.

Pizza Hut takes thick slices of buttery garlic bread and tops it with cheese and your choice of pizza toppings. Top it with pepperoni, ham, pork, beef, Italian sausage, or bacon pieces. Not into meat? Well, you can get veggies as well. You can get nine slices with your choice of one topping for $8.99.

These sound nice, but I’m waiting for Pizza Hut to introduce French bread pizza, just like my momma used to make in the toaster oven.
