Impulsive Buy reader David snapped a photo of this promotional poster for the Tailgater Breakfast Sandwich at his Dunkin’ Donuts location in Abington, Massachusetts.
The sandwich features peppers, onions, cheese, an ancho-chipotle sauce, a split smoked sausage, and what looks like a fried egg. It’s not a brand new sandwich — it was available in Atlanta last year — but it has not seen a nationwide rollout.

I think Popeyes has been wanting to make their new Lemonade Icebox Pie for a long time now. Actually, I KNOW Popeyes has been wanting to make this pie for a long time because the person running the Popeyes Pinterest account pinned a recipe for lemon icebox pie two years ago.
Okay. Okay. Maybe it’s just a weird coincidence.
Popeyes’ Lemonade Icebox Pie features a graham cracker crust, a sweet and tangy lemonade pie filling, and whipped cream rosettes on top. The dessert is available for a limited time at participating locations.

Last summer, 7-Eleven began offering Mountain Dew Solar Flare as an option at their fountains. The soda is described as a “Dew with a blast of tropical punch.” This summer, 7-Eleven is offering Mountain Dew Solar Flare in brain freeze-inducing Slurpee form.

Over the years, there have been a number of Mountain Dew Slurpee flavors. The most recent flavors include the Mountain Dew Fruit Punch Kickstart Slurpee and the regional Mountain Dew Electric Charge Slurpee.

McDonald’s locations in the Louisville and Southern Indiana areas are offering a burger with a regional flair.
McDonald’s The Spirit of Kentucky Burger, which has been available since April 6, features a quarter pound beef patty topped with thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, onions, white cheddar, and a bourbon-flavored sauce on an artisan roll. For those hoping to get tipsy from a McDonald’s burger, the bourbon sauce contains no alcohol.
The burger is available at Kentuckiana McDonald’s restaurants until May 30.

Honest Tropical Green Tea is a proprietary blend of Fair Trade Certified, organic green tea leaves with hints of mango and pineapple. It’s sweetened with Fair Trade Certified organic cane sugar. The beverage is available in small, medium, and large sizes with a recommended price of $1.69, $2.29, and $2.69. The new iced tea is freshly brewed daily at participating Wendy’s restaurants.
