McDonald’s Peach and Strawberry Teas aren’t new for some of you in states like North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia because they were available last year, but it’s new for those in Kentuckiana. Impulsive Buy reader, The Groove Machine, sent us a photo of Peach and Strawberry teas being offer in Indiana.

Last year, McDonald’s also offered in certain regions their Raspberry Sweet Tea and Diet Sweet Tea.

Dairy Queen has been rolling out a new line of oven-baked desserts, sandwiches, and wraps called DQ Bakes. They aren’t available nationwide and there’s no mention of them on the DQ website, but reader The Groove Machine took these pictures at a DQ in Indiana.

The DQ Bakes Hot Desserts à la Mode include:

Fudge Stuffed Cookie à la Mode – a baked chocolate chip cookie with a gooey fudge center and topped with soft serve and a cocoa fudge topping.

Apple Tart à la Mode – a baked apple tart with oatmeal crumble topped with soft serve and a caramel topping. (On Second Scoop reviewed it.)

Triple Chocolate Brownie à la Mode – baked brownie served with soft serve, cocoa fudge topping, rich choco chunks and topped with whipped topping.

The DQ Bakes Snack Melts include:

Buffalo Chicken – grilled chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, buffalo and ranch sauces wrapped in a warm crisp tortilla.

Chicken Bacon BBQ – grilled chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon and bbq sauce wrapped in a warm crisp tortilla.

Chicken Quesadilla – grilled chicken, cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, tomatoes, onions, black olives wrapped in a warm crisp tortilla. (Um…that’s a quesadilla?)

The DQ Bakes Artisan-style Sandwiches include:

Chicken Bacon Ranch – sliced grilled chicken, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing on ciabatta bread.

Chicken Mozzarella – signature crispy chicken strips, mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce on focaccia bread.

Turkey BLT – turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on ciabatta bread.

Papa John’s has a new carbohydrate-filled side you can eat with your pizza. Garlic Knots are made with fresh baked dough and garlic parmesan seasoning. Each order of eight includes a pizza sauce for dipping.

So are these going to taste different than Papa John’s Parmesan Breadsticks, which are coated with a blend of their garlic sauce and parmesan Italian seasoning?

You can get an order of eight Garlic Knots for $5. Or, if you order it online with a large, two-topping pizza for $10, you can get it for $4. Papa John’s Garlic Knots are available through May 24.

Remember Pizza Hut’s Dippin’ Strips Pizza?

No?

How about their Big Dipper Pizza?

Well then, experience something like those two pizzas with Pizza Hut’s new Big Flavor Dippers Pizza.

It’s a nearly two-foot pizza cut up into 24 dipping strips that you can dunk into one of four dipping sauces. These sauces include Marinara, Ranch, Barbeque and Honey Sriracha. The pizza also comes with a choice of 10 crust flavors from the Flavor of Now menu, like Hut Favorite, Toasted Cheddar, and Salted Pretzel.

The Big Flavor Dippers Pizza with one topping and four dipping sauces is available for $12.99 at participating locations.

You trust Dunkin’ Donuts with donuts. You trust Dunkin’ Donuts with coffee. But would you trust Dunkin’ Donuts with guacamole? Find out with Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Bacon Guacamole Flatbread Sandwich.

Dunkin’ Donuts’ guacamole is made with Hass avocados, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice. Along with the guacamole, the new sandwich also features two strips of bacon, an egg, and a slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese in a warm multigrain flatbread.

The new sandwich is available now through May at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
