Baskin-Robbins’ Flavor of the Month for October 2023 is Apple Cider Donut. It features apple cider donut-flavored ice cream with baked apple cider-flavored donut pieces and cinnmaon sugar swirls.

If this fall flavored scoop sounds enticing, might I recommend holding back until October 31, when you can get a scoop of it (or any flavor) for 31% off as part of Baskin-Robbins’ Celebrate 31 promotion.

A small 2.5-ounce scoop has 180 calories, 8 grams of fat, 5 grams of saturated fat, 30 milligrams of cholesterol, 65 milligrams of sodium, 24 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 18 grams of sugar (including 14 grams of added sugar), and 2 grams of protein.

Sonic Drive-In is getting into the summer spirit with its new Toasted S’mores Shake.

The treat starts with Sonic’s 100% real vanilla ice cream hand-mixed with chocolate chunks and graham cracker crumbs. It’s also topped with marshmallow whip and more graham cracker crumbs.

The Toasted S’more Shake is only available through August 30.

Nutrition facts were not available at time of publication, but, let’s face it, it’s a shake so it’s going to have numbers much greater than an entire celery stalk.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Papa John’s Shaq-a-Roni Pizza

Papa John’s is collaborating with one of its board members and restaurant owners, Shaquille O’Neal, to launch the new Shaq-a-Roni Pizza.

It’s an extra large pizza made with Papa John’s fresh, never frozen six-ingredient dough that’s topped with extra cheese and extra pepperoni, which is cut into Papa John’s largest foldable slice size ever. The pizza has a $12 suggested price.

According to its press release, for ever Shaq-a-Roni Pizza that’s sold, one dollar will be donated to The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community to support COVID-19 relief, the fight against racial injustice, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, UNCF (United Negro College Fund), and general community involvement.

For those who order the pizza, there’s an exclusive Snapchat AR experience. Using the Snapchat app, customers simply point their camera at the pizza box to reveal a 3-D surprise.

The treat features Nestle Drumstick pieces, chopped peanuts, and chocolate all blended with soft serve.

A small order has 690 calories, 33 grams of fat, 22 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 45 milligrams of cholesterol, 250 milligrams of sodium, 82 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 66 grams of sugar, and 16 grams of protein.

Starbucks’ Refreshers have been around for eight years. Dunkin’s Refreshers have been around for significantly shorter than that.

The new cold drink line from Dunkin’ is made with iced green tea, flavored fruit concentrate, and B vitamins. They get their caffeine from green tea, which is unlike the Starbucks’ version that gets it from green coffee. There are two flavors to try — Strawberry Dragonfruit and Peach Passion Fruit.

A large Strawberry Dragonfruit has 170 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 20 milligrams of sodium, 39 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 37 grams of sugar, and 1 gram of protein.

A large Peach Passion Fruit has 180 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 20 milligrams of sodium, 43 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 39 grams of sugar, and 1 gram of protein.

To celebrate summer, Dunkin’ is offering medium Refreshers for $2 all day at participating locations nationwide through July 28.
