SPOTTED ON SHELVES (NOT FOOD EDITION) – 3/11/2013

Here are some interesting new products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Axe 3-in-1 Total Fresh

Axe Facial Cleaning Products

Axe Hair Products

It seems like it was just yesterday when Axe products consisted of just body sprays that young men would spray too much of on their bodies. Now there are body washes, shampoos, hair styling products, and face cleaning products. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Tom's of Maine Wicked Cool!

Wicked Cool! would’ve been a TOTALLY wicked cool name for toothpaste during the 1990s, bra! I look forward to Tom’s of Maine’s future kids toothpaste — Da Shiznit! Toothpaste. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Dove Men +Care Shampoo

Dove Men +Care Face Products

Back in my day, we didn’t have fancy face washes, face lotions, body washes, shampoos, and shave gels. We used Ivory soap for EVERYTHING. Sure, I had dandruff and irritated skin on my face from shaving with Ivory soap, but we liked it. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Oralbrush Tongue Foam

“As seen on YouTube”? Not quite that impressive of a label to put on a oral hygiene product. I would’ve preferred something, like “Doctor Recommended” or “Dentist Recommended.” After all, a lot of things have been seen on YouTube. They’re putting themselves in the same boat as cat videos, cinnamon challenge videos, and men getting hit in the balls videos. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/8/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Starbucks Iced Coffee

Starbucks’ new bottled Iced Coffee doesn’t have 12 ounces like a Tall-sized Starbucks coffee, but the bottle is taller than a Tall Starbucks coffee. (Spotted by Marvo at Target.)

Trolli Evil Twins

One is sweet. The other is sour. One leaves positive comments on your blog. The other leaves anonymous comments, like “your so lame.” One will give you a hug. The other will punch you in the balls or boob. (Spotted by Cybele at Target.)

Chex Mix Muddy Buddies Brownie Supreme

I know what’s supreme about Optimus Supreme and Taco Bell’s Taco Supreme, but I’m not sure what’s supreme about brownie supreme. (Spotted by Eric at Walmart.)

Fiber One Garden Vegetable 80 Calorie Wraps

Fiber One Honey Wheat 80 Calorie Wraps

Wrap some refried beans and cheese with these Fiber One 80 Calorie Wraps and you’ve got yourself a meal that’ll make your butt squeal. (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Pepperidge Farms Boston Creme Pie Milano Melts

Now that Pepperidge Farm has Boston Cream Pie Milano Melts, they need to make New York Cheesecake Milano Melts so that the two can fight about the Yankees and Red Sox. (Spotted by Stephen at Waldbaum’s.)

SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/6/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Limited Editions Skinny Cow Cupcake Batter Ice Cream

So does having cake-flavored ice cream with cake on the same plate mean I can have my cake and eat it too? (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Skinny Cow Cookie 'n Dough

Is it just me or do other people have nightmares that involve being chased by the Skinny Cow mascot who is carrying liposuction equipment and screaming, “I’ll show moo how I got skinny!”? (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Skinny Cow Salted Caramel Pretzel

No, seriously. That Skinny Cow mascot freaks me out. Whenever I buy a Skinny Cow product, I get a White Out pen or a thick Sharpie and color over it. (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Limited Editions Skinny Cow Pretty in Pink Velvet Truffle

The drizzled cream cheese-flavored frosting looks like strings used to tighten a corset. It’s as if it’s saying,”Eat me to get skinny or wear a corset to look skinny!” Or maybe I’m thinking they look like corset strings because I like to act out scenes from my Fifty Shades of Grey fan fiction. (Spotted by Adam at Weis Markets.)

Thank you Adam for the photos! SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/4/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Brown Rice Triscuit

A-tisket a-tasket. I put a box of Brown Rice Triscuit in my basket. Well, I though I did, but I actually dropped it. I dropped it. I dropped it. I actually dropped it. But I asked the manager for a discount and I got it. (Spotted by @KingRhino at Meijier.)

Don’t call it a comeback. Atkins been here for years. Rockin’ no beers and gettin’ rid of fat in your rear. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Ritz Fresh Stacks Everything Onion, Poppy Seeds, Garlic & Sea Salt

Everything, eh? Then where’s the kitchen sink? (Spotted by Rebecca at Walmart.)

Fage Fruyo

Fruyo…so it’s fruit with yogurt. OMG. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. (Spotted by Kelcey at Path Mark.)

SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/1/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Hawaiian Punch Crush Orange Water Enhancers

Crush Grape Water Enhancer

Look at what you started MiO! This is getting ridiculous! An ICEE-flavored liquid water enhancer? Awesome! Now I can enjoy the goodness of a completely melted ICEE without having to wait for it to melt. (Spotted by Joshua at Publix and Winn Dixie.)

Campfire Mallow Bursts Lemon Meringue

Toast these babies over a fire, then place them in between two graham crackers, and you have yourself a lemon s’meringue. (Spotted by Nadirah at Walmart.)

Ocean Spray Cran-Lemonade

Ocean Spray has combined cranberry with grape, pomegranate, raspberry, blueberry, apple, cherry, strawberry, tangerine, and now lemons. Is there any fruit Ocean Spray won’t combine with cranberries? (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Bon Appetit Frozen Meal

At first I thought these Bon Appetit frozen entrees were related to Bon Appetit magazine. They aren’t. Then I wondered if Bon Appetit magazine still exists. It does. After that I wondered if Gourmet magazine was still being published. It’s not. After that I wondered if Highlights for Children still exists. It does. Then I wondered if Children’s Digest was still around. It’s not. (Spotted by Kevin at Walmart.)

Nestle Limited Edition Coco Orange Shreddies

Now THIS is what limited edition cereals should be like here in the US. Kind of weird, but that weirdness makes it buyable. Instead we have limited edition Trix cereal with swirls and limited edition Marshmallow Pebbles that are exactly like regular Marshmallow Pebbles except with a different Flintstones character on the box. (Spotted by Kelly at Waitrose in the UK.)
