Remember when Wheat Thins used to come out with new flavors all the time? Those were good times in the snack blogging world. But now Wheat Thins have been relegated to some janitor’s closet, while Triscuit and Good Thins slowly eat up Wheat Thins’ shelf space. (Spotted by Carla at Safeway.)

I look forward to a future when we break through the triple chocolate barrier. But we should not set our sights for just quadruple or quintuple chocolate products. To stay ahead of the Russians, we must develop octuple or nonuple chocolate products. It’s going to take our nation’s best food scientists to reach this goal.
