SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 9/2/2014

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Russell Stover Pecan Pie Candy Pumpkin

Oh, Russell Stover! What flavor won’t you stick in a candy pumpkin? (Spotted by Sylvia at Walgreens.)

Clif Kid Iced Lemon Cookie Organic ZBar

This is a product for kids, so shouldn’t the Z come at the end of the word “Bar”, not before it. Barz. See. That looks like what I’m used to. (Spotted by Carla at Target.)

Rockstar Roasted with Almond Milk

The blue Rockstar Roasted with Almond Milk is Light Vanilla, the black one is Caffe Latte, and the red one is a flavor people wouldn’t associate with the color red, White Chocolate. (Spotted by Rene at FoodMaxx.)

V8 Protein Bars

I bet these V8 Protein Bars are horrible in Bloody Marys. (Spotted by Lindsay at Meijer.)

FAST FOOD NEWS: Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Crème Brulee Coffee and Lattes

Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Creme Brulee Latte

Are you tired of the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte craze that happens every year?

Well then, start your own pumpkin coffee beverage craze with Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Pumpkin Crème Brulee Latte.

Post filtered photos of it on Instagram. Let your Facebook friends know you’re drinking one right now. Start calling it the PCBL, like how folks call the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte a PSL, and turn that acronym into a Twitter hashtag.

The Dunkin Donuts’ Pumpkin Crème Brulee Coffee and Lattes feature pumpkin and vanilla flavors blended together and are available hot or iced. If you’ve sipped on one, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Baskin-Robbins Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream

Baskin Robbins Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream

Pumpkin Cheesecake is Baskin-Robbins’ Flavor of the Month for September 2014.

I know what some of you are thinking.

Pumpkin Cheesecake sounds like it should be an October flavor. But I guess if all the other companies can release pumpkin-flavored products earlier than they should, so can Baskin-Robbins. Although it’s not as early as some companies. I’m looking at you Pillsbury!

Baskin-Robbin’ Pumpkin Cheesecake combines pumpkin flavored ice cream, cheesecake flavored ice cream, ginger snap cookie pieces, and a cinnamon cream cheese flavored ribbon.

A small serving has 160 calories, 70 calories from fat, 7 grams of fat, 4.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 85 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 17 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein.

SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Chobani Limited Batch Pumpkin Spice and Apple Cinnamon Greek Yogurt

Chobani Limited Batch Pumpkin Spice Greek Yogurt

Chobani Limited Batch Apple Cinnamon Greek Yogurt

Apple Cinnamon isn’t a new flavor for Chobani, but Pumpkin Spice is. But I could’ve sworn Chobani had a pumpkin flavor. Or maybe I’m confusing it with one of the other dozen or so yogurt companies. (Spotted by Stefanie at Target.)
