SPOTTED ON SHELVES (PUMPKIN EDITION) – 10/3/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Limited Edition Dreyer's Pumpkin Patch

Hey, Linus! While you wait for The Great Pumpkin in a pumpkin patch, why not enjoy some Limited Edition Dreyer’s Pumpkin Patch Ice Cream? No, because it’s cold? Oh yeah, I guess so. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Kraft Jet-Puffed Pumpkin Spice Mallows

I wonder how these would taste after being toasted or burnt over a campfire. Mmm…Pumpkin Scorch Mallows. (Spotted by Lindsay at Walmart.)

Limited Edition Planters Pumpkin Spice Almonds

Planters Pumpkin Spice Almonds are back with a scary looking Mr. Peanut on the packaging. Awesome way to get into the Halloween spirit, Planters! (Spotted by Claire at Weis.)

Entenmann's Pumpkin Muffin Little Bites

I want to juggle these…or pop as many as possible into my mouth and then attempt to recite the alphabet. (Spotted by Maria at Target.)

Duncan Hines Limited Edition Decadent Pumpkin Spice Cupcake

Awww, man! Ingredients? Instructions? Insufferable. I’ll just take the pumpkin spice frosting from this and then top the Entenmann’s Little Bites Pumpkin Muffins with it. (Spotted by Kelley at Walmart.)

  1. Sadly, you have to mix the pumpkin spice frosting in your mixer and load the pastry bag yourself.
Seriously Duncan Hines, don’t you realize I’m lazy in my gluttony? Include a filled pastry bag, or even a large packet dispenser like a toaster strudel and I am all over this. And the Red Velvet Cream cheese one, too.

  2. I’ve tried the Entenmann’s Little Bites Pumpkin Muffins and I thought they tasted more like a coffee cake for some reason than a pumpkin muffin. I checked the ingredients list and sure enough it lists pumpkin. Maybe my taste buds are off though lol.
