SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 10/17/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Tyson Chuck E. Cheese's Cheesy Chicken Nuggets

Hey, Chuck E. Cheese! You’re Chuck E. Cheese, not Chuck E. Chicken. Because after playing around in your entertainment area, kids mostly upchuck cheese. (Spotted by Dubba at Walmart.)

Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Grahams Strawberry Shortcake

These Strawberry Shortcake Goldfish Grahams look spotted…or have extra eyes! (Spotted by Dubba at Walmart.)

J.L. Kraft Ranch Dressing

Thanks to these new Kraft dressings, I learned Kraft is actually J.L. Kraft and J.L. stands for James Lewis. I also found out he was born in Stevensville, Ontario in Canada to Mennonite parents. Then I learned the Mennonites are a Christian group based around the church denominations named after Menno Simons of Friesland. Then I read about how Friesland is not where French fries were invented. (Spotted by Jeff at Walmart.)

Sara Lee Limited Edition Apple Pie Bagels

I could grab these Limited Edition Sara Lee Apple Pie Bagels from the bread aisle at my local grocery store, or I could walk to the store bakery 10 feet away and buy a real apple pie. (Spotted by Yuna at Target.)

Quaker Popped Buttered Popcorn

Buttered popcorn-flavored rice snacks? Finally, something that sounds much worse than buttered popcorn-flavored jelly beans. (Spotted by Adam at Safeway.)

Pepperidge Farm Bake at Home 2

Pepperidge Farm Bake at Home 1

Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but those Pepperidge Farm Bake at Home breads look like they’re already baked. (Spotted by Adam at Safeway.)

  1. Buttered popcorn flavoring is The Worst. They should have done Candy Corn, you never know if the Candy Corn flavoring will ‘do’ to the product. M&Ms candy corn is literally the best candy this season for me though as of now.

And I am glad Chuck E Cheese finally made their food accessible to those who want to see if the food they gourged on as a child at Chuck E Cheese was as good as they thought it was without actually having to go inside of a Chuck E Cheese and thus seeming like some probably-a-pedophile pizza sl*t human everybody stares at because they have no kids tagging along with them.

    1. They taste like the crunchies on a Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake bar!! I imagine they would be fantastic with vanilla ice cream!
