It would be insane if Hardee’s got blocks of Velveeta, cut them into 1/2-inch slices, and turned those slices into the burger’s buns for their new Hardee’s Bacon Velveeta Patty Meltdown. Instead, it just has grilled sourdough bread that’s topped with a charbroiled 100 percent Black Angus beef patty, Applewood-smoked bacon pieces, grilled onions, regular slices of Velveeta cheese, and mayonnaise.
It’s available with either a 1/4-, 1/3- or 1/2 lb Black Angus beef patty and its price starts at $4.79 at participating locations. You can get a $1 off coupon for any size Bacon Velveeta Patty Meltdown combo by visiting hardees.com/coupons.

I had this the other week. I don’t see the big deal about saying its Velveeta cheese. I could not take the difference between this or any other brand of cheese. I wish they’d bring back the grilled cheese bacon thickburger from a few years back.
Had these twice already. The Velveeta makes it a nice creamy-gooey cheese masterpiece. However, the bacon is nice, but leaving a salty aftertaste.
I forgot to mention the only complaint: $9.99 for a 1/2 lb. combo! Thank goodness for that $1 off coupon on their webpage.
I just purchased the 1/2lbs meal (a medium) and after taxes it was $11.04. The meal was great but i won’t be buying another because of the price. The Velveeta and bacon fused together in my mouth to make a wonderful combination, however, like I said earlier it’s not with the price.
