FAST FOOD NEWS: McDonald’s Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders and Signature Sauce

McDonald s Buttermilk Crispy Tenders

McDonald’s is once again offering chicken tenders.

The first iteration came out over a decade ago and was around for many years. It was discontinued and replaced with Chicken Select Tenders, which was also discontinued. But you know what they say, “The third time is the chicken.”

It’s available in 4-, 6-, and 10-piece servings with your choice of dipping sauce, which now includes a sweet and tangy Signature Sauce.

A 4-piece serving has 490 calories, 26 grams of fat, 4 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 105 milligrams of cholesterol, 1360 milligrams of sodium, 22 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 1 gram of sugar, and 39 grams of protein.

  1. They taste exactly like they used to. They haven’t changed the flavor at all but the breading is a lot thinner than it was previously but it does make it an improvement to eat. Not bad, but nothing special. It does leave a long lasting taste in your mouth. The sauce is forgettable and doesnt really taste like anything. I would pass on the sauce and pick your favorite instead.

  2. Nothing like the buttermilk chicken sandwich?? But why? Love the sandwich hated the tenders. With you with the sauce; just choose your favorite.

  3. They are decent, but I wish they would have kept the original thick breading from the Chicken selects. The thin breading doesn’t provide the same crunch and flavor. The sauce is just okay, I’d rather have the buffalo sauce. I was really excited for these, but I don’t think I’d get these again when at McDonald’s.

  4. After reading the nutritional value you supplied they weren’t worth the damage. The breading was crunchy and not a bad texture ,but really not worth the salt and calories. Truly I just tasted the BBQ sauce that I chose.

  5. Had to take them back and get a refund, they were over cooked and very dry. Did not look even close to the advertisement.
