Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Starbucks’ newest beverage that might be showing up in your Instagram feeds right now is the Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers Beverage.

This tropical drink is a combination of mango and dragonfruit flavors, handshaken with ice, and a scoop of real diced dragonfruit that give the beverage its magenta color. It’s available on the permanent menu at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.

A Grande has 90 calories, 0 grams of fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 15 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 19 grams of sugar, 0 grams of protein, and 45-55 milligrams of caffeine.

The Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers Beverage can be turned into the “Dragon Drink” by requesting coconutmilk be used instead of water. And, it can also be made with lemonade creating the boring-named Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refreshers Beverage.

If you’ve tried any version of it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

  1. They’re using FRESH!!! dragonfruit in this beverage, and in a generous serving! Extremely awesome given that dragonfruit is expensive. The taste really balances well and I’d liken it to an Asian-style drink where they have cubes of jelly. Overall it’s very refreshing and I hope they keep it around awhile, though I don’t know how long they’ll be able to keep using the actual fruit and not switch to mango or the like.

  2. I had one today and I really liked it. There was a lot of dragonfruit. I hope this is a permanent addition.

  3. I really would want to try this! never tried dragon fruit in my life. I know i love mango. Not to be a health-nut but I wonder if i can get it unsweetened?? hmm
