SPOTTED: Carrot Cake Oreo Cookies

Carrot Cake Oreo Cookies

One of these days, Nabisco will run out of ideas for new Oreo flavors. When that day comes, I’ll be sad because Oreo cookie posts make up probably* one percent of our posts. *Didn’t look this up, but it feels as if one percent of our posts are about new Oreo flavors. Oh, this flavor has also been spotted at Walmart. (Spotted by John R at Target.)

Thank you to all the photo contributors! If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you do so, you might see your picture in our next Spotted on Shelves post.

Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if the product is old, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

  1. Looks pretty good to me. Brandless has a coconut cookie with lemon creme filling that is my favorite one right now. I do like the Red Velvet Cake oreos with the cream cheese filling so this one will probably be tasty as well.

  2. I’ll definitely pick this one up, but I thought it was slated to be released later in the year, closer to Easter, and after the Most Stuf and Dark Chocolate Oreos were released.

      1. I purchased those today but I haven’t tasted them yet, but they look really yummylicious.

    1. I bought these cookies today, they’re very tasty, you can truly taste the nutmeg and cinnamon and the aftertaste really does taste like you had just eaten a piece of carrot cake. In fact, a little bit later I felt like there was little chunks of carrot left in my mouth.

  3. i tried them the are my favorite! I love the cc frosting it is similar to the cream in the red velvet oreos

  4. Have no fear they’ll have flavors for years!!!!!…Banana Crème Pie, Fluffernutter, Oatmeal Crème Pie, Tuxedo, Almond or Cashew Butter, Monster Cookie, Baklava, Pecan Pie….I can do this all day.

    1. It’s absolutely delicious, especially if you like the taste of nutmeg, predominate flavor, but cinnamon and the cream cheese flavor put it all together for you. The only problem I had was a lot of the cookies that I ate were broken and I didn’t know if my package had been dropped or if it was the more creamier filling than a regular Oreo cookie.
