You know, it wouldn’t be the end of the year if I didn’t show you a product for Easter. (Spotted by Kelly at Food Lion.)

    1. Grew up on fluffernutters! Can’t wait to find these and eat them up!

I wish they would just make a chocolate cup with marshmallow filling like a mallow cup except without the poisonous coconut. The coconut is all that stands between me and the mallow cup!

      1. Hehe, poisonous coconut. 🙂 I’d give these a try, curious what “marshmallow flavoured” creme will taste like.

I imagine Russel Stover etc. will be out with their easter candy soon and you can get some non-toxic marshmallow eggs. 😉

  1. I think that they should had did a peanut butter marshmallow filling than just the marshmallow top. I suspect it’s white chocolate flavored with marshmallow.

    1. Alek – I’d guess they’re hesitant to mess with the tried-and-true peanut butter filling. Creating a new concoction of peanut butter and marshmallow might be expecting a bit too much R&D for one of these seasonal efforts. The coating is a much easier way of delivering different flavors or coloring.

I think you’re right that it’ll probably just be white chocolate with a more generically sweet or vanilla-ish flavor, rather than something that actually tastes like marshmallow. It’s too bad Kit Kat is made by a different company because they could’ve re-used the Witch’s Brew coating for these. That was a pretty good approximation of marshmallow.

    2. Unfortunately, the label lists this as “marshmallow flavored creme”. “White creme” is Hershey’s cheap-o, vegetable oil-based product which is a chalky/non-creamy substitute for white chocolate.
