Joy Cone Co. has been around for over a hundred years, but this year is the first time I’ve ever heard of them. Geez, I really have to do my homework on ice cream cone makers. (Spotted by Robbie at H-E-B.)

Never heard of, nor seen, them, either. But I think it’s a great concept. Now that I think about it (as I rarely think about ice-cream cones), I’m surprised it hasn’t been thought of earlier.
(Gee, I used the word “think” an awful lot, there.)
I “think” so too! hehe I’m not an ice cream cone eater really and definitely agree that this is a great concept.

Missouri here. This is the ice cream cone brand I remember from my childhood.
i grew up in a big family, so we tended to have larger cartons of boring ice cream in the freezer plus cones & toppings to suit the individuals, rather than small pints of delicious mixed flavours.
my go-to was sugar cone + vanilla ice cream + rainbow jimmies, tho i was just as likely to want a bowl instead of the cone. one of my sisters was a die hard for plain cone + chocolate ice cream + chocolate sprinkles. the cones (both varieties) were always in the cupboards. they were usually stale. they were always Joy brand.
