“But what’s with the brick wall and neon lights design? ” hahaha I was so taken by the new flavor, that I didn’t even notice that. It does make it look like the goldfish in question are under interrogation…er…in a dark alley, late at night, at that.
I actually have a couple of rather off-the-wall-sounding theories as to why, but I’ll save those. I am curious as to the actual reason, however.
Mysterious packaging design aside…I WANT to try these. And, yes…another round of applause for another new and creative flavor from the Goldfish folks. Keep ’em coming!
Maybe the neon lights/wall reflects to late night snack? Like a bar theme.
YES…this was the primary hypothesis that I had. I used to eat such junky fast food, primarily after leaving the clubs and bars (back when I used to frequent them, for many years). You know: post-drinking, unhealthy food-cravings, and all. Glad I’m not alone, in this line of thought.

I wonder if these would work with pozole or chicken tortilla soup. Will need to try.
These are REALLY good. Salted Oreo levels of good. Already went back and bought a few more.
