Is this the first time Great Value Ice Cream has been available in pints? Also, this is the first time I’ve seen a biscuits & jam flavored ice cream. I’m sure one of you will point out that a small ice cream shop has one, but I live a sheltered ice cream life. Also, as a banana ice cream fan, I’m most interested in the Skillet Banana Caramel one. (Spotted by Dorothy at Walmart)

I literally said, “No way!” aloud to myself (well, and my cat), when I saw that one. I’m not sure why I’m quite as intrigued by it, as I am…but, there you have it.
Oh, duh! I might wanted to have mentioned WHICH one I was referring to: the Biscuits & Jam variety. (Although, yes, they all sound interesting and tasty.)
I have always avoided the Great Value ice cream and desserts. How is the quality? I wonder who makes it for them?
I don’t know who makes them, but every Great Values ice cream I’ve had has been pretty yummy and the texture is surprisingly creamy. It wonder if they’re dipping their toes in the Jeni’s type ice cream flavors.

Just tried the Great Value Biscuits & Jam & the consistency is very creamy & for the price it actually tastes way better than I thought it would.
They finally showed up in my order roster. I tried the Brown Butter and Bourbon. The flavor was delicious but it was not dense and by the time I ate it after about 2 weeks in my freezer it was icy. I will try it again, the flavor was very good for me. It brought to mind an ice cream flavor common in my childhood in the 1960s, Black Walnut. Yum!
The back of my pint said High Road Craft Ice Cream.
I saw that these are made by Wells Dairy but have never tried the Great Value ice cream or desserts. How is the quality?

Ah well, such is life. I’m gonna try the bourbon brown butter flavor, maybe with a splash of actual bourbon. mmmmmm! Thank you for alerting us to this new item, pints are nicely accessible.

They used to have a line of Sam’s Choice pints. Which is essentially Great Value with another name. But they had a blackberry crumble pint once that was sweet cream, blackberry swirl with pie crust pieces. If this is anything like that it will be great!
where were these ‘spotted’? They aren’t available at my Walmart, w-a-a-a-a-a-h!
