  1. I tried the Mac & Cheese Van Leeuwen ice cream. I died and went to heaven.

It’s so so so wrong. It’s the best thing ever. It’s salty, sweet, cheesy, creamy… You have to try it. Even my mom, who side-eyed me something fierce when I told her to try it, agreed it was addicting (her word).

    1. Top Google result said the blue water was a spirulina (algae)-based custard with the green land made from matcha green tea cake. Not sure what flavor of custard it/algae is, but the review said it was sweeter than expected.

  2. In keeping with Van Leeuwen’s manufacturing philosophy, the Blueberry Shortcake flavor will feature prominent notes of Hungarian paprika and red onions, while the Bourbon Cherries Jubilee flavor will use a base of Mountain Dew Code Red.

    1. Is their manufacturing philosophy ’how to manufacture the most disgusting flavors of ice cream of all time?’

    2. Actual ingredients:

      Wild Blueberry Shortcake:
cream, blueberries, cane sugar, eggs, milk, lemons, butter, brown sugar, wheat flour, malted barley flour, water, canola oil, invert sugar, salt, natural flavors, vanilla extract, sunflower lecithin, baking soda

      Bourbon Cherries Jubilee:
cream, milk, cane sugar, egg yolks, cherries, tapioca syrup, oranges, lemons, vanilla extract (grain alcohol, vanilla bean), salt, bourbon, vanilla bean, tapioca starch, cinnamon, carob

      1. Yes, I do have a hate on for any company that would produce a mac and cheese flavored ice cream. That is some serious nightmare fuel. If I want mac and cheese, I’ll grab Stouffer’s or TJ’s Hatch Chili Mac and cheese.

        1. I’m sorry that you are living with this hate…I’m assuming you also must hold some sad and harmful hate in your body towards Jeni’s and their Everything Bagel ice cream.

    3. Its really good. Just kinda almond ie tasting ice cream and big chunks great tea cake
