If we had an effective Federal Trade Commission, Sundrops would get in big trouble for labeling their products as ice cream. Even with real dairy products, ice cream has a very specific definition. Obviously this vegan alternative would come nowhere close to that.
I wish products like this wouldn’t try to go incognito as animal foods, I think they would see better long term success if they could convince people they are delicious products in their own right. Instead they act all deceptive and gross about it.
