SPOTTED: Tostitos Mexican Style Three Cheese Tortilla Chips

The three are maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides, and guar gum. Oh, you want to know about the three cheeses, not three random ingredients. Okay, they are cheddar, parmesan, and cotija. (Spotted by Robbie at Walmart.)

    1. With parmesan, and cotija, they sound like they’ll be real salty, like a pirate… RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr

      1. hahaha Riiight? And that’s right up my alley, too…I love me my salty snacks, matey!

          1. 😀 (I originally wanted to do the tongue-out emoji, but that one doesn’t appear to “take” on here.)

  1. I picked these up last week at Meijer and I didn’t think I’d like these but I do like them and they are right they are great for dipping or even eating them regular without the dip with a sandwich.

  2. Am I the only one who is crying foul at the naming of these? Had they gone with Mexitalimerican I wouldn’t be griping.

      1. Hehe. I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, lol. Either way, thanks! 🙂

          1. I bet that you’re the nice kind of sarcastic…seizing an opportunity for a good jest. Not the mean kind who actually means what they’re saying and disguises it as sarcasm. 🙂

          2. Oddly, couldn’t reply to your last comment (no REPLY button available), Holly May (and yet to my own last comment, I could…wha??), but you are spot-on re my particular kind of sarcasm. It’s always to be funny, never mean (well, unless the situation…and/or the person…warrant it). 😉

  3. These were actually pretty tasty. They have a strong cheese flavor, with a subtle green pepper taste just barely peeking through at the right amount. I feel like If I used dip it would just ruin the chip. That’s not to say there isn’t a dip that wouldn’t work with it. I just am not sure which.

  4. Parm doesn’t scream Mexican to me, but there’s much that I don’t know. I’ll be on the lookout.
