SPOTTED: Carnation Girl Scouts Cookie Flavored Breakfast Essentials Drinks

Will we ever see Girl Scouts cookie-flavored Ensure in our lifetimes? (Spotted by Robbie at Walmart.)

If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

  1. My first thought was that this looked like Ensure, which prompted a reaction of immediate disgust from me. I went through eating disorder treatment multiple times and was forced to drink 4 Ensures a day at one point, so they have really bad memory associations for me. If anyone is wondering and has never tried them, the flavors I tried (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry) bear no resemblance to the ice cream flavors. Vanilla tastes like battery acid, strawberry tastes like spoiled cough syrup, and chocolate is barely passable as chocolate. I had to down them with sips of water in between.

    1. Congratulations for coming so far, Elizabeth. Thank you for sharing your experience. I wish you all of the best!

    2. Give the flavors a try, I love the strawberry but can’t drink much, diabetic, but my special needs daughter loves them first thing in the morning, she’s a tiny thing for 40 so it gives her extra nutrition.

    3. If you ever do need an actual pleasant and also much more nutritionally balanced supplement then Soylent is the way to go. 🙂
Also, as horrid as all those ensures and boosts are, the way that they are utilized in treatment definitely achieves a couple of key goals.

Keep it up, Elizabeth and keep enjoying life!
