Van Leeuwen Mango Sticky Rice Ice Cream Bonbons.

Van Leeuwen Cre?me Caramel Ice Cream Bonbons.

Because it’s Van Leeuwen, I hope there are plans to offer unusual ice cream flavors with these bonbons. (Orange & Cream and Strawberry & Cream spotted by Amanda Y at Kroger. Mango Sticky Rice and Creme Caramel spotted by Sarah R at Whole Foods.)

      No.

Mochi is a dough made from rice and/or rice flour, and sugar. The dough can be plain or flavored, and it can be wrapped around many different fillings: bean paste, ice cream, etc.

The Van Leeuwen Bonbons appear to be wrapped not in a dough but rather have just a coating made from sugar, coconut cream, stabilizers (pectin, seaweed fiber, etc), and other various ingredients depending on the flavor (fruit puree and/or fruit juice, caramel, etc).
