SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Cookies & Cream Cookie Pop Popcorn

Cookies & Cream Cookie Pop Popcorn

You could buy this. Or you could Google “cookies and cream popcorn” and pick from one of the many recipes Google will show you. Or you can dump a large bag of Oreo Minis into a bag of plain popcorn. (Spotted by Trevor at Walmart.)

FAST FOOD NEWS: Wayback Burgers Oreo Mud Pie Cricket Milkshake and Slim Jim Jerky Milkshakes

Wayback Burgers Oreo Mud Pie Cricket Milkshake and Slim Jim Jerky Milkshake

Need a break from that giant container of protein powder you got from GNC? The folks at Wayback Burgers can help…or hurt. It depends on how you feel about drinking cricket or jerky milkshakes.

Their Oreo Mud Pie Cricket Protein Milkshake features vanilla bean ice cream, Oreo Cookie crumbles, chocolate and coffee flavoring, and Peruvian chocolate cricket protein powder. A 22-ounce serving has 24 grams of protein.

The Slim Jim Jerky Protein Milkshake is made using vanilla bean ice cream and barbecue, maple syrup, and hickory spice seasonings. Sadly, the Slim Jims aren’t blended into the milkshake. They just lounge in it. A 22-ounce serving has 20 grams of protein.

The milkshakes are available in Junior (12 oz.) and Regular (22 oz.) sizes and will be around until September 30th.

If you’ve tried either one, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Krispy Kreme Birthday Cake Chiller

Krispy Kreme Birthday Cake Chiller

Krispy Kreme has brought back their Brownie Batter Doughnut (brownie batter-flavored filling and topped with milk chocolate icing and mini chocolate chips) and Birthday Cake Batter Doughnut (birthday cake-flavored filling and topped with yellow icing and confetti sprinkles).

But the chain also brought something new to their menu — the Birthday Cake Chiller. It’s a cupcake-flavored frozen treat topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. If I had a Krispy Kreme near me, I would be very tempted to dip a Birthday Cake Batter Doughnut into a Birthday Cake Chiller.

The new Chiller and two doughnuts are available at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada until August 30.

If you’ve tried any of them, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Limited Edition Cookies & Creme Oreo Cookies

Oreoception Oreo Cookies are back! Since we covered this in the past, I wasn’t going to post this photo. But then 28 of you also sent in a photo of it. So to prevent my email inbox from being stuffed with dozens of Limited Edition Cookies & Creme Oreo Cookies photos, I decided to post it. (Spotted by Lisa at Dillions/Kroger.)
