SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Fritos Spicy Jalapeno Corn Chips

Frito-Lay and Taco Bell should coordinate new releases. For example, have a new Taco Bell burrito with the new Fritos Spicy Jalapeño in it. The burrito can promote the chips while the bag can promote the burrito. (Spotted by Geoffrey at Save Mart.)

FAST FOOD NEWS: Little Caesars Smokehouse Pizza

Little Caesars Smokehouse Pizza

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Little Caesars’ new Smokehouse Pizza is like a meat lovers pizza, but not with the typical meats you’d find one. There’s no pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham, or beef.

But it does have three types of meat — beef brisket, pulled pork, and Applewood-smoked bacon crumbles.

The brisket is made using Midwest beef that has been brined with a proprietary blend of spices, then it’s pit-smoked with Hickory wood for 8-10 hours. The pulled pork is smoked for 10-12 hours in a rotisserie-style pit.

The pizza is also topped with mozzarella and Muenster cheeses and BBQ sauce, and is finished with a smokehouse-seasoned crust.

Starting February 27, Little Caesars Smokehouse Pizza will be available for a limited time at participating locations for $9. It’s also available HOT-N-READY from 4-8 p.m.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

SPOTTED ON SHELVES: New 2017 Ben & Jerry’s Flavors

Urban Bourbon, Truffle Kerfuffle, Salted Caramel Almond, and Oat of this Swirled. I’m pretty sure one of these flavor names took less time to come up with than the other three. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)
