FAST FOOD NEWS: Wendy’s Harvest Chicken Salad

WendysHCS

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Wendy’s newest salad is the Apple Walnut Chicken Salad. Oh wait, I’m sorry. It’s called the Harvest Chicken Salad.

Apple Walnut Chicken Salad is the name my lazy ass would’ve given it if I were in charge of Wendy’s marketing because it’s so similar to Wendy’s Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and I don’t want to spend too much time coming up with names. Sure, customers might be confused and buy the wrong salad, but we’d stil be selling salads.

The Harvest Chicken Salad features red and green apples, grilled chicken, brown sugar walnuts, dried cranberries, feta cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, and an apple cider vinaigrette on a bed of fresh-cut lettuce.

FYI, the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad has red and green apples, grilled chicken, roasted pecans, dried cranberries, blue cheese, and a pomegranate vinaigrette on lettuce.

A full size serving of the new salad has 570 calories, 23 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0 gram of trans fat, 115 milligrams of cholesterol, 1300 milligrams of sodium, 47 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, 37 grams of sugar, and 42 grams of protein.

FAST FOOD NEWS: ICEE Pink Unicorn at Target

ICEE Pink Unicorn at Target

I wish I could ask a unicorn what “unicorn flavor” is supposed to taste like. Oh, unicorns don’t speak? They’re magical beings, of course, they can speak. That horn isn’t just for show. It absorbes the sound waves from our voices and translates it to unicorn speak. It also telepathically translates what the unicorn is saying into human language.

That’s what my My Little Ponies told me after I licked them.

While there is no consensus what unicorn flavor is supposed to be, according to @ReneBarba89, who sent in the photo, he told this ICEE is watermelon flavored.

The cone is filled with Sonic’s signature Real Ice Cream which is topped with more Oreo creme and crumbled Oreo pieces. The dessert starts at $2.49 and is available for a limited time, while supplies last at participating Sonic locations.

Also, if you hate the thought of ice cream running down your arm because the waffle cone cracked, you can also get all the ingredients blended togehter in a cup with the Double Stuf Oreo Blast.
