  1. Breakstone’s is one of those regional dairy brands now owned by Kraft (like Knudsen’s in California). I’ve seen the name in the dairy case of a local ‘Discount Grocery Warehouse’ where it was notably cheaper than the Knudsen products in the chain stores. In this case, they may be putting all the “Greek Sour Cream” under that label rather than multiple regional labels. Or it may just be Kraft doing something that makes no sense (wouldn’t be the first time).

    1. Breakstones must be a regional thing but around here (new england) it’s THE sour cream and THE cottage cheese, the ones that’re in every grocery store, gas station, etc.

  2. I’ve had the Yoplait 100-calorie Greek Strawberry Cheesecake Bliss yogurt and loved it! It was only available in Target, but last week, Yoplait announced it as one of it’s new flavors that are going to be available in stores everywhere, including an Apple Pie flavor, so I’m thinking it was first introduced in limited release in Target to see how it did and now it’s being sold elsewhere.

  3. The “CB Old County Store” brand also has bacon and spiral ssliced ham. It is in fact associated with Cracker Barrel restauant, but since there’s already a Cracker Barrel brand in stores I guess they had to change the name and logo.

  4. The ladies who work at Cracker Barrel remind me of the ones who staffed my elementary school cafeteria, always get nostalgic in there.

  5. Haven’t you heard their theme song? Breakstones, meet the Breakstones, they’re the modern stone age creamery…”

  6. I should’ve done more research on the caramel macchiato flavor I sent earlier. I am sorry, I didnt know they had it at walmart:-( well, that give me another excuse to shop around!
