FAST FOOD NEWS: Jack in the Box Steak & Egg Breakfast Burrito

Jack in the Box Steak and Egg Burrito

Jack in the Box has added a new steak to their breakfast menu with the introduction of their Steak & Egg Breakfast Burrito. It’s stuffed with Jack’s new flame-grilled steak, scrambled eggs, pepper jack and cheddar cheeses, and a creamy sriracha sauce. All that is wrapped in a warm tortilla and it comes with a side of fire roasted salsa.

But what is that at the bottom? Is that a hash brown? I’ve read nothing about a hash brown. You folks see it, right?

Update: I emailed a Jack in the Box representative about the 115 grams of fat and was told the fat content on the website was an error. The burrito has 50 grams of fat. I was also told the burrito has 850 calories.

According to the Jack in the Box website, the Steak & Egg Breakfast Burrito has 796 calories 850 calories, 115 grams of fat (I hope it’s an error) 50 grams of fat, 24 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 391 milligrams of cholesterol, 1971 milligrams of sodium, 559 milligrams of potassium, 58 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of fiber, 3 grams of sugar, and 34 grams of protein.

  1. Hasn’t there previously been a steak and egg burrito at Jack in the Box? I guess it wasn’t an everyday menu item, but I know I’ve eaten it on several occasions in the past. There were hashbrowns in it.

    1. This was previously in the menu but was axed when they intro’d the two breakfast burritos they have now. I’m not quite sure why but this was always one of my favorite items on the jack breakfast menu and I’m glad to see it returning.

      1. there was a lot of customer demand to bring back the Steak and Egg burrito. The only differences between this one and the old one is a slightly larger portion of eggs, new steak product, and sriracha sauce instead of chipotle.

  2. I really want to try this burrito but they don’t offer any picante sauce (a la Salsa del Sol).

I guess it saves my wallet.

  3. They’ve had a steak and egg breakfast burrito for a long time now, the only difference here is that this one is spicy with the addition of the sriracha sauce and the pepper jack cheese it’s a good burrito without the spice I haven’t tried the spicy one yet

  4. had my first stea k and egg burrito today.absolutely disappointed. took 3 large Bites before I even tasted steak. so by the time I finished eating the burrito, I think I counted three maybe four pieces of meat ridiculous. it should be called…. vegetarian…. meat flavored burrito… kinda…..don’t get me wrong it was good, but completely disappointed. If you like meat, this isn’t your burrito.
