SPOTTED ON SHELVES IN CANADA: Nestle Kit Kat Mint and Cookies & Cream Tablet Bars

Nestle Kit Kat Mint and Cookies & Cream Tablet Bars

As long as Kit Kats are produced by Hershey’s in the U.S., we will never have Kit Kats as awesome as these or the ones offered in Japan, Europe, or the rest of the world, which are all made by Nestle. (Spotted by Joelle at Sobeys in Canada.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. Or reply to us (@theimpulsivebuy) on Twitter with the photo, where you spotted it, and the hashtag #spotted. If you’ve tried the product, share your thoughts about it in the comments.

  1. Alright with peanut butter and double caramal as a “chunky version” we have two more flavors in Germany than you guys in the US… but that that is not close to all the other flavors you can find in australia or japan… does the UK get a lot of interesting kitkat flavors? ’cause i never saw one here ^^

  2. My husband brought home wasabi, rum raisin, and strawberry cheesecake from Japan, and they were so disappointing. Wasabi had a super mild, blink and you’ll miss it, wasabi flavor. Rum raisin had an overpowering rum flavor, and strawberry cheesecake just tasted like strawberry scented white chocolate. I was definitely expecting a lot more than what I got.

    1. Blasphemer! Wasabi Kit Kats are gifts from God! :O
I’m from Toronto, but I pick up Japanese Kit Kats every so often here in Chinatown. The selection you find is rarely consistent, so when I see a type I’ve never had before, I snatch it up quickly, because it’ll be replaced with another in a few weeks. Green tea Kit Kats at this point are very easy to come by here. I’ve also had the wasabi, hojicha tea, red pepper, and pumpkin varieties. Enjoyed all of them…a little too much. I’ve seen the rum raisin one quite a bit, but have never been tempted to try it. I am dying to try the purple beni imo flavour, though. I’ll need to keep my eye open for these guys.

      1. It wasn’t bad by any means, I was just expecting more from it. I wanted the punch in the face that wasabi gives you, and I got a “I think that might be wasabi on the back of my tongue…maybe,” flavor. It was tasty, just not what I was expecting.

    1. These are made for Nestlé by the Australians. The taste is amazing- a nice thick bottom for perfect snap. yummmm

  3. …as long as these are Not as Bad as the White Chocolate kit kat….terrible flavour …ick!!!
