2016 SEASON OF GIVING (DAY 3): $5 Wendy’s Gift Card

IMG 0480

Unlike the other gift cards we’re giving away, the card above has been in my possession for a while. I’m talking a year or two. I’m not sure how I got it, but the card says it does not expire and no fees will be charged for not using it. So I think we’re good to go. I could’ve used it, but I’m too lazy to drive the 8.5 miles to my nearest Wendy’s. So my laziness is your gain.

It was an interesting year at Wendy’s. The fast food chain brought back their Taco Salad, it jumped on the sriracha bandwagon with a side dish and chicken sandwich topped with a sriracha aioli, and it offered a new summer salad with berries.

  1. Haven’t had Wendy’s in a long time! I’ve seen a few interesting menu items, would like to check them out with this card!

  2. You know what I miss? Their chicken sandwiches. They changed them to their “Asiago Ranch Chicken Club” and those suck…they’re also pricey. The ones I remember were like a buck or two. It was just chicken, lettuce and a slice of cheese on a bun…possibly with some sauce? It was a few years ago so…memory foggy…but damn did I love ordering those.

  3. Ahhhh….so happy the taco salad is back! Might be a little different, but it’s my favorite thing on menu, with chili cheese fries as a close second…yum#

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything at Wendy’s that was $5 or less, but any amount is still better than nothing.

  5. Wendy’s Chocolate Frosty Drinks takes me back to my childhood memories with my Grandma at Herald Square, New York! One drink to bring it all back <3

  6. I love Wendy’s! It’s my favorite fast food. 😀 They have the best fries! Well, okay, second best after Five Guys.

  7. Taco salad…meh not such a fan. I still remember days of their actual salad bar. Still $5 could nicely satisfy my fry in a frosty habit.

  8. Dave Thomas came to me in a dream last night and told me if I didn’t receive this gift card, he would have to spend eternity listening to Clara Peller scream ‘Where’s the beef?” in his ear over and over and over. But hey… no pressure.

  9. Do they still serve breakfast at any of the Wendy’s? That was pretty good when the ones around here had it.

  10. I just bought one of the free frosty cards, but i need to purchases something to get it free, this card should do the trick

  11. The Taco Salad was a lot better the first time around, what a disappointment 🙁 I’ll stick to the plain chili.

  12. give mine to a homeless person after my wife’s AVM we are hand to mouth but there are people a lot more worthy than me and they have no internet to win so if it comes up just hand it to someone who will think that’s steak instead of a burger.

  13. Does anyone else remember when Wendy’s had their frosty parfaits with caramel apple or chocolate oreo? They need to bring those back, they were amazing! I haven’t been to Wendy’s in forever (mainly since they stopped carrying them), but perhaps this is the nudge I need to go back xD

  14. This would buy me an order of those sriracha fries, and an order to give away so I don’t have to share mine.

or maybe that new chicken sandwich
