Starting today (Monday, April 13), TIB will not accept Spotted photos taken in stores, until further notice. If you happen to spot something new, and it’s something you plan on buying, and you’d like to let your fellow TIB readers know about it, please take a photo of it at home.
With this way of doing things, we won’t have photos of a lot of new products, but that’s okay. Safety is the number one concern during these times.
If you’ve sent in photos sometime within the past few days, we’ll be posting them throughout this week and maybe next week.
Stay safe, everyone!

Have you been living under a rock lately?
I guess so we aren’t touching so many products and contaminating then since we aren’t purchasing? Makes sense! Thanks for the heads up!
Makes sense. And probably so people aren’t going to the store just to find new products or staying longer than they need to.
What a wonderful, responsible move–thanks, Marvo.
Thanks Marvo for this responsible post ?
Oops.. That “?” Was meant to be a <3 ….
I was wondering how the ‘spotted’ posts would work now in our dark apocalyptic era of existence. Responsible move, Marvo!
Ditto, just looking at the photos of people’s un-gloved fingers on the products that I was sure were set back on the store shelves gave me the heebie jeebies. So glad the site has addressed this issue!
a great response – i have been in two minds on other product blogs thinking hmmm this is all very tempting i should unfollow so i dont go looking for this stuff.
Thank you! Most stores in my area are limiting the amount of people that can be inside, so I think it’s best if people aren’t stopping to take pictures.
Thank you for doing this. No food is worth touching for a photo and internet clout. Keep everyone safe.
