  1. i totally forgot about Land O’Lakes cocoa mixes. i used to get packets like that in my Christmas stocking as a teen and once in awhile i’d be allowed to add a splash of Kalhua or Bailey’s or Disaronno and it’d feel very decadent.

    1. I was never lucky enough to have the whispers of liqueur in mine as a kid and I definitely remember these packets being a treat! For some reason one in a green packet is at the forefront of my mind…maybe it was a mint chocolate?

  2. Good gosh apparently keto is very fat forward…these cereals have to be way out of my calorie range. Fatty cereal just does not sound good.

      1. No it’s truly not, I don’t get keto, I guess I love carbs so much i can’t imagine giving them up. The protein part sounds good, but I’ve never thought of cereal as a fat delivery system. I’d be curious to see the nutrition information too. I can’t find it on the internet but I’m not great at that.

        1. Tehe. Yeah, I personally think the whole keto “diet” is a bit silly. Well, any “diet” for that matter.

      2. Amen Holly May! I always like your comments, they are always spot on. Life’s short. Carbs are wonderful. A diet is what I feel like eating, and a portion size, same thing..?

        1. Hehe. Thank you. We have a great community here and it’s always a pleasure to visit the comment section to either say something, learn something, challenge my own or another’s opinion, and most likely have some chuckles! Glad that you’re enjoying it.

And yes! Live your life in pleasure! Who has time for all of that food logging and grams of this or that information analyzing! (That being said, I’m not at all insensitive to those with health concerns who HAVE to be more conscientious about those things.)

    1. Who cares about the fat? They’re also flavorless, because they have like no sugar. Ick!

      1. How bizarre I didn’t even notice that. Ugh. How can Frosted Flakes have 2 measly grams of sugar? And I googled and binged as Holly May mentioned and I get everything but what I was looking for. Frustrating yet silly because I’m not eating it ?

        1. Yep, keto is all about high fat and low carbs. It’s gross, and most of the people on it don’t even lose weight anyway. Deprivation of anything is not worth it. Life is too short to deprive yourself of the fun of real cereal, in my opinion.

          1. So true! And as with any diet, you may experience immediate weight loss and then since people tend to then stop said diet versus actually just making changes in their life or having a more consistent diet they immediately put the weight back on…silly, imho. Diet culture can take a step off a cliff!

          2. Agreed totally about diet culture. I was diagnosed with an eating disorder at age 15 and struggled for 13 years, so any diet ignites a fire in me. Many eating disorders start with a diet and then spiral from there. Also, you can be overweight and still have an eating disorder, so many people that pursue diets endlessly probably have an undiagnosed eating disorder.
