SPOTTED: Kellogg’s Cinnamon French Toast and Strawberry Milkshake Frosted Flakes

Kellogg s Frosted Flakes Cinnamon French Toast Cereal

Kellogg s Frosted Flakes Strawberry Milkshake Cereal

Update: We tried them! Click here to read our Cinnamon French Toast review and here for our Strawberry Milkshake review.

If the cinnamon french toast one tastes exactly like Cinnamon Frosted Flakes, I’ll be a sad tiger. But if it has an egginess like French Toast Crunch, they might be gr-r-r-eat. (Spotted by DJ at Redner’s.)

  1. I can’t wait to find the Strawberry Milkshake ones and put some sliced bananas on top! Strawberry banana is just a winning combo!

  2. I’d especially be tempted by the strawberry version, but am just fearful of the sugar rush that I might expect from it.

  3. “Bursting with cinnamon sweetness”

I didn’t know cinnamon was sweet or “bursts” flavor. I think someone’s confusing cinnamon with a fruit.

    1. There is actually a bunch of info on the web about the whole history of that! Have fun with your google project . 🙂

  4. Strawberry Milkshake is a bit disappointing tbh. It smells of strawberry candy when you open the box and you would think that’s what it’s going to taste like but it honestly tastes of just the toasted corn flavor of the flakes with just a bit of strawberry aftertaste. It’s really odd.

    1. Is it kinda like the Honey Nut Frosted Flakes? Where it didn’t exactly taste like honey, but the milk did?

If so, it might be worth mention that if you ate half a bowl, then poured in the 2nd half after you ate the first half, it might be a better experience.

    1. I found the Strawberry Milkshake Flakes at my local Walmart in Central NJ. The only issue is that it’s a Family sized box like most cereals at Walmart, so if you end up not liking the cereal, you’re stuck with a large box of something you may not like. Not sure why so many new releases have to come in Family size. Not everyone has a family and most people like to try new releases on an individual level.

      1. As a follow up. I recently tried the Strawberry Milkshake flakes and they’re pretty good. Definitely smell like a Strawberry milkshake, although the flavor disspates a little bit once in milk, but they’re still tasty. I’d give the cereal a 7 out 10. Not the greatest new flavor, but still tasty and different from a lot of other previous releases.

      2. They need to bring back those mixed individual serving boxes (or do they still do them?) and release “special edition” flavour collections! …thought they probably wouldn’t because they can make more money by forcing people to buy the full/family size. Vice versa they would still profit and perhaps more people would be likely to invest in the big box if they found a flavour that they really liked in the individual box mix!
