Of course, there’s a risotto one. I’ve heard Chef Ramsay yell that dish’s name so many times. (Spotted by Robbie at Walmart.)<

      1. The most obvious evidence of this being the recent adds where he’s shilling for triscuits.

  1. I just tried the mac and cheese. It may have been the worst frozen mac and cheese I have had in a long time. Rubbery noodles and soggy cornbread crumbs with a weird cheese sauce.

I expected better from him considering his stance on frozen food.

  2. There is *ground beef* in the *shepherd’s* pie? And he put his name on that? Chef Ramsay, for shame.

    1. Yeah, I wasn’t going to mention that the Shepherd’s pie is a Cottage pie. And who knows, he may have said something during the planning of these products, but unfortunately I think in the U.S. people tend to only think of it as a Shepherd’s pie, despite no lamb. The Shepherd’s pie at Bennigan’s was also done with beef.

      1. Yeah, that’s true. Cottage pie does tend to be marketed as shepherd’s pie in the US. We, as a country, are just not big on lamb. Which is unfortunate, because lamb is delicious.

  3. I hope I can find this at my local Wal-Mart. It’ll be the closest I get to dining at a Hell’s Kitchen for quite some time!

  4. Saw these as well as ones by Guy Fieri and Kardea Brown. Tried the grits offering from Brown….pretty good.

  5. I’m interested in trying some of these and it will be without the apparent backgrounds some have on his comments. The sarcasm is obvious and unfortunate.

  6. My Wal-Mart finally got these in and I was able to try them. My feelings echo a lot of the sentiments here in that it really seems like a cash grab and they were not only expensive for what you get, but also underwhelming. Glad I got to try them but I will not buy them again!
