Plant Based… as opposed to those meat based mainstream cereals.
I think they say that so that they can justify making it even more expensive than it would be otherwise. Like, the Heinz ketchup that is labeled gluten free, and is more expensive than their regular ketchup, even though their regular ketchup is gluten free. That’s my take on it, anyway.
Since it’s $1.25 per ounce I’d say you’re totally right.

Yeah, I remember that…the C&W cereal looked like cat treats.
Probably tasted like that too…I’m not the biggest fan of chicken when it’s, you know, chicken…as a cereal? No thanks fam.
