Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

This is CHOCOLATE Frosted Flakes, not the Frosted Flakes CHOCOLATE you’ve been seeing on shelves for years with and without marshmallows. Those were gr-r-reat! Just kidding, they were o-o-okay.

So what’s different about these?

According to the company, it tested how different cocoas interacted with the cereal flake and the milk left at the bottom of the bowl. The result ended up being toasted flakes with a rich, roasted cocoa frosting.

Hmm. Did Kellogg’s not put this much effort into creating Frosted Flakes Chocolate?

The cereal will be hitting shelves nationwide at major retailers and grocery stores in November with a suggested retail price between $4.69 and $5.79.

COMING SOON: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

I’m surprised it’s taken this long for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerios to become a reality. Chocolate Cheerios has been around for years and there was once a peanut butter-flavored Cheerios. While pumpkin spice is the popular flavor during the fall, chocolate and peanut butter is the most popular flavor combo EVER.

The cereal was announced over social media with photo above. According to the photo’s caption, it’s made using real cocoa and peanut butter, and it’s coming real soon.

COMING SOON: Post Honey Maid S’mores Cereal

Post Honey Maid S mores Cereal

Watch out Kellogg’s Smorz Cereal! You’re getting some competition.

Post is teaming up with Nabisco to offer Honey Maid S’mores Cereal. See that, Kellogg’s! S’mores spelled properly and it doesn’t look like the name for a tribe of trolls. According the Post Cereal website, it combines “chocolatey goodness, sweet marshmallows, and the delicious taste of Honey Maid Graham Crackers.”

The cereal will be available at select Walmart stores in June. When it hits shelves, here’s the store location page you can use to find out if it’s at a Walmart near you.

But I wonder if this will become beloved by many, then discontinued, but sold in South Korea, then brought back due to popular demand like Oreo O’s cereal. Oh, by the way, Oreo O’s cereal is coming back to the U.S.
