Did you know National Corn Dog Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship?

I didn’t know that.

But I do know Wienerschnitzel is celebrating National Corn Dog Day today (Sunday, March 19), the day after National Corn Dog Day, with 99-cent corn dogs all day long at participating locations.

The Weinerschnitzel Corn Dog features a chicken frank dipped in sweet honey batter. It has 230 calories, 120 calories from fat, 13 grams of fat, 3 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 40 milligrams of cholesterol, 490 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, and 8 grams of protein.

To celebrate National Corn Dog Day, Sonic is offering 50-cent Corn Dogs all day today (Saturday, March 18).

Sonic’s Corn Dog is a hot dog that’s dipped in sweet cornbread batter and then dipped into hot oil to be deep fried. It can be topped with ketchup or mustard. Its usual suggested price is $1.49.

If you miss out because you were busy or the Sonic location runs out, don’t fret. Sonic has a history of offering 50-cent hot dogs on other days throughout the year.
