Wendy’s has added a new line of cheeseburgers to its menu that has a name that might make White Castle’s marketing folks a little upset. Wendy’s Made to Crave features three items — S’Awesome Bacon Cheeseburger, Peppercorn Mushroom Melt, and Barbecue Cheeseburger.

The S’Awesome Bacon Cheeseburger made its debut last year. It’s made with fresh beef, two American cheese slices, three Applewood smoked bacon strips, iceberg lettuce, sweet onions, pickles, and Wendy’s Side of S’Awesome sauce on a premium bun. You can read our review by clicking here.

Wendy’s Peppercorn Mushroom Melt features a 1/4 pound of beef; sautéed, fire-roasted, and seasoned white mushrooms; crispy fried onions; Asiago cheese; a premium bun; and a smoked peppercorn aioli, which is made with cracked peppercorn, fresh garlic, and has underlying tones of mushrooms.

It has 690 calories, 42 grams of fat, 13 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, 95 milligrams of cholesterol, 1110 milligrams of sodium, 47 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 31 grams of protein.

Finally, the Barbecue Cheeseburger has 1/4 pound of beef, crispy fried onions, pickles, American cheese, and a sweet and smoky Kansas City-style barbecue sauce on a toasted bun.

The cheeseburger has 630 calories, 34 grams of fat, 13 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 gram of trans fat, 95 milligrams of cholesterol, 1360 milligrams of sodium, 53 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 14 grams of sugar, and 34 grams of protein.

What are Flamin’ Hot Nacho Doritos?

The new Flamin’ Hot Nacho Doritos are when “Nacho Cheese Gets Lit,” as denoted by the back of the pack. But really, it’s Chester the Cheetah lending his creds for Doritos’ latest spicy flavor.

How are they?

They’re spicy, salty nirvana!

They smell like regular nacho flavored Doritos, but when you eat them, they’re seriously LIT. There are two hits of heat; the first hits your throat with some tolerable fire and the second is the afterburn on your taste buds. This compounding of hot is what will get ya.

After a few chips, your nose will definitely be running and your eyes a-waterin’. But, don’t touch your face with your hands because you’ll get the thick Flamin’ Hot residue everywhere. I am amazed that it’s not just blind, overpowering heat. The nacho flavor is still somehow prominent as well.

I don’t think it’s the same Flamin’ Hot seasoning that’s on Cheetos. Even though the red color looks very similar, it’s much spicier. However, it’s still complementary, so I’ve been eating them together like a Flamin’ mix.

These are so fuego that it caught me by surprise and I almost feel the need to defend my spicy tolerance (I can eat spicy foods, I swear!). This new flavor is the hero in Frito-Lay’s new multi-million-dollar Super Bowl ad, so you best believe that it knows this is a winner too! Takis better watch out!

Baskin-Robbins Flavor of the Month for February 2019 is the romantic Cherry Cordial with Kisses.

The treat features Hershey’s chocolate ice cream with mini Hershey’s Kisses and a cherry ribbon. A 2.5 oz. scoop has 180 calories, 9 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 0 gram of trans fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 45 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 1 grams of fiber, 16 grams of sugar, and 3 grams of protein.

The flavor is also available as part of Baskin-Robbins’ Love & Kisses Sundae, which features a scoop of Cherry Cordial with Kisses topped with marshmallow, a scoop of Love Potion #31 topped with hot fudge, and a scoop of Very Berry Strawberry topped with strawberries. Each scoop is also finished with whipped cream, chopped almonds, and a Hershey’s Kiss.
