It’s fitting to see a company named MorningStar Farms come out with a hot and spicy version of their veggie breakfast sausages, since Morning Star is another name for Lucifer, who likes hot and spicy places.
MorningStar Farms Hot & Spicy Veggie Sausage Patties are seasoned with herbs and spices, like crushed red pepper, red bell peppers, black pepper and cayenne pepper. I’ve had their original veggie sausage patties, which I’ve enjoyed, and their maple-flavored variety, which tastes just like the original ones, and since I likey the spicy, I’ll probably enjoy these.
A box of MorningStar Farms Hot & Spicy Veggie Sausage Patties contains six patties. Each hot and spicy patty contains 70 calories, 3 grams of fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0.5 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0 milligrams of cholesterol, 230 milligrams of sodium, 130 milligrams of potassium, 3 grams of carbohydrates, 1 grams of fiber and 8 grams of protein.

I happen to love Morningstar products but always have to be careful with my intake because the sodium levels tend to be a bit high. If you have the chance to sample these, please let us know what you think!

This is perfect. Maybe if I grub on Morningstar, then breathe fire in the general direction of my children, they’ll back off and leave me ‘lone for a little while. Like for 5 minutes. Oh, how I love them so….
Or you could lock them in the bathroom. Oh wait, that should only be done with pets.

I’m on a loso plan myself (1000mg per day) & these were not hard to budget in.
I need to lower my sodium intake too, but I’m too lazy keep count.
Morning Star products for me are normally hit or miss. However I love their crumble!!
I love their veggie crumble too. I have five bags of it in my freezer. I use it for taco salads and chili.
Never heard of the brand. Where did you buy them from? I’m guessing Safeway?
MorningStar Farms products are everywhere, although if you blink you might miss it in the freezer aisle. I usually buy it from Safeway or Target.
I grew up on the regular morningstar patties so these sound really good, but after seeing the travesty that is morningstar “bacon” i refuse to support those hippie bastards anymore
