Poppy and sesame seed? Is that the best Nabisco can do for our friends with Celiac disease? Sure, they can make Key Lime Pie-flavored Oreo cookies, but it seems they can’t make Rice Thins with an awesome flavor. (Spotted by Marvo at Times.)

Sadly, Del Monte didn’t get their mad botanists to create fruit and vegetable hybrids. The vegetables are in the juice. (Spotted by Joshua at Target.)

  1. Haven’t tried these yet, but poppy and sesame seeds are extremely tasty so don’t assume it’s not a good choice. Rice crackers are not just for celiacs! The good ones are tasty all by themselves or a splendid base for toppings. They don’t overwhelm like wheat, a different and lighter taste. San-J has tamari sesame rice crackers (wall-wall sesame seeds) which are great by themselves – both black sesame and the regular. Sesmark makes a small plain rice cracker which is tasty and very useful for toppings. Just avoid Quaker Oats rice cakes, they are usually like cardboard (Lundberg makes rice cakes right – dense and tasty and with some real calories). I like Quaker’s mini butter popcorn ones, but the rest of the minis aren’t worth it and the full size are – well, buy Lundberg’s if you really want a rice cake.

  3. I totally remember the Nestle Buncha Crunch. I didnt realize they discontinued them, though I havent really seen, or thought about them since probably the 90s. I remember liking them!
