COMING SOON: Limited Edition Filled Cupcake Oreo Cookies

Image1

Last week, Instagram user Smoore1224 posted this image of an upcoming Oreo. According to her post, it’ll be hitting stores in January 2016. As you can see, this flavor encourages eaters to lick the creme. As you can also see, it appears to have some kind of chocolate creme and the regular Oreo creme. After tasting what Nabisco did with Brownie Batter Oreo, I’m guessing the chocolate creme will be a bit different than regular chocolate Oreo creme. Well, we’ll find out in a few months.

  1. This sounds interesting.

Why not they do a mesh up oreo with one golden and one chocolate wafer with a swirl of vanilla and chocolate crème?

    1. YES. Not any of those Cakesters they used to make either. I want Hostess style, but with real Oreo flavor. Pack a wad of gritty crème in those suckers!

  2. Hopefully this will be a better one, Brownie Batter was one of the worst areas i have ever tasted

    1. @Doreen: I actually thought that Brownie Batter Oreos was fine and totally lived up to its name. Having said that, I find that it’s just too rich (and I’m shocked to hear me say that, heh-heh) and I prefer the plain chocolate filling–just rich enough, and great.

  3. I am very glad these aren’t coming out anytime soon. Gives me something to look forward to for the New Year!

  4. I dunno, I don’t think I can handle another oreo flavor until they’re willing to make actual golden oreos with edible gold color coating. Or alternatively, why not make a chip’s ahoy flavored oreo, or EL Fudge oreo? They’re reaching for sure.

  5. My greatest wish would be for them to come out with a ‘end of year’ sampler pack with all the flavors introduced over the past year. I want to try these limited edition flavors, but don’t want to get stuck with an entire package. Just one or two cookies to try of each flavor would be perfect…hello Nabisco marketing dept, can you get on this please?
