Update: We reviewed it! Click here to see our review of the milk chocolate one.

There’s also a salted caramel flavor. Kraft should sell an actual Philadelphia cheesecake already. Also, while checking to see if that may have existed before, I learned there were once Philadelphia branded cheesecake snacks. Interesting! (Spotted by Amanda Y at Kroger.)

  1. I’ve got the chocolate and caramel cups, the chocolate I’m a big fan of. The sauce was much better than expected, and filling good. Haven’t tried caramel yet but have a pack in the fridge.

    1. Sorry, I can’t agree with your enthusiasm. I think these are gross and not worth wasting calories on. I’m a huge fan of cheesecake but these things taste nothing like cheesecake– to me it just tastes like bad cream cheese with some foul sourness thrown in.

    2. Are they in the refrigerated section? I’ve lost Ike’s at Kroger and meijer and Walmart. No luck. Where did you buy them?

  2. Hey Marvo. I think the Cheesacakes by Kraft are available in India on Snapdeal. You just reminded me of them. I wanna taste them soon now 🙂

  3. Just bought the Cherry today. It was awesome timing because I have been craving cherry cheesecake for awhile and have wondered how I can remedy that.

Anyway, these are legit. I am going to drop Kraft a note now and tell them they can/should make one small improvement here – include some graham cracker crumbs in the package!! 🙂

    1. If they include graham crackers, then people like me who cannot eat wheat, cannot enjoy them.

    2. YES!!! It really really really NEEDS the graham cracker crust. It just doesn’t feel right without it.

  4. When I was a kid, I loved the Philadelphia cheesecake bars. I was so sad when they got rid of them. I hope these make it to my tiny town. They look yummy.

    1. The bars were delicious. They were kept in the cheese aisle and I would inhale the whole box in a day. They weren’t cheap either. LOL My teeth would hurt after that indullgence. Interestinglly enough, I’ve never had a slice of cheesecake before but have had many of those bars!

  5. Seems like a better idea have been to package these like a layered pudding cup…I hate those little “sidecar” things that everybody uses now…it’s impossible to get all the item out of it and just pointless.

  6. Just tried the cherry one. It was okay, kind of a letdown. The cheesecake part was not sweet and didn’t even taste like cheese!

      1. So disappointed. Got the chocolate and strawberry. Didn’t finish and Throwing out the second cup of each flavor. The cheesecake was so salty, to li,e any cheesecake I’ve ever had.

  7. Speaking of cheesecake. I bought a Junior’s cheesecake from Kroger’s frozen section today in Indiana.

  8. Not a big fan. I didn’t like it. Just had the chocolate cup. Did not taste like cheesecake. The cheese is too salty and there were weird dry bits in it that made me gag.

    1. I have found the same issue. I thought maybe I had gotten a bad batch from this one store. So I just tried it again from another store and same thing. 🙁

  9. Well first time buyer purchased 4 ? ( all ?) the cheesecake was a little too creamy almost buttery but very good would buy again!

  10. Those cheesecake snack bars were the best. Really upset when they stopped selling them. I tried the cheesecake cups today and they were alright but it would have been nice if they included graham cracker crumbles to top them.

  11. These are absolutely disgusting. My mouth is confused. Did I just eat yogurt? Or slimy cheesecake? Or pudding that went sour? Terrible idea, cream cheese people. Ew. Please don’t waste your money on this. I honestly think I’m gonna throw up.

  12. Ripped off by my package of the strawberry version. Only half full on both sides. Maybe even less than half. I am having trouble finding a site where I can complain.

  13. I wished I had seen these reviews before I bought the cherry ones. They tasted nothing like cheesecake! It would be better used if you wanted a bagel with cream cheese and a little fruit. It was just like the soften cream cheese, not like cheesecake at all. There was not a lot of fruit and it was pretty sweet.

  14. Not very good at all. I had hoped they would be like the big Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cheesecake Filling tubs, but these are nothing alike.

These cheesecake cups have a texture and taste like its been whipped with sour cream – it’s got a light, slimy texture, and isn’t very sweet, a little bit sour. I noticed only one odd flakey bit as someone mentioned above before I gave up on it, but my mother had the other cup and said it was very grainy and tasted off.

My cat, who loves dairy of all kinds especially cheesecake filling – would not touch it at all. It’s really unusual of him to give something like this a miss.

That’s three votes against these from my house. If you ever see the big Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cheesecake Filling tubs, though, jump on it – those are outstandingly delicious.

    1. Um you give your cat people food and that’s your guide? Lol lol lol
I love the chocolate ones. Haven’t seen the others in the stores yet.

  15. Yuck. I was shopping today at local Kroger and spotted these in the refrigerator section. I thought how cool. Now I can eat a single serving without feeling like the rest of the cake will ruin unless I hurry up and eat it. I was patient and waited until after dinner before trying. I popped open the strawberry one and dug in. Ewww! It tastes salty. I don’t know about the rest of the country but here in Texas we like our cheesecake sweet. I will return the unopened cherry and try to convince someone to eat the other strawberry one. Bummer. Great idea lousy product.

  16. A BIG let down! I saw these advertised on TV, and couldn’t wait to try them. I found them in my local grocery store and bought one if each flavor-big mistake not just ordering one! I expected the cheesecake part to taste creamy, like actual CREAM CHEESE, not a slimy, salty, blob of goo. I will be calling Kraft tomorrow to complain. Maybe I’ll get some free Kraft coupons out of it!!

  20. What stores will they been in we have checked walmart, buy 4 less, homeland and not found them at all

  21. They are fine as a snack, though they don’t taste like cheesecake. Strawberry is pretty good.
Chocolate is also good. Cherry is absolutely awful. Haven’t seen the salted caramel yet.

  22. I remember the cheesecake bars, they were so delicious! I really wish they’d bring them back. The white chocolate raspberry flavor was to die for!

  23. Taste nothing like cheesecake. Sounds great in theory but I honestly couldn’t eat the whole cup, which is pretty small. Tasted like cream cheese with cheap strawberry pie filling. I had to even check the expiration date because of the way it tasted. My step mom thinks they are delicious though.

  24. Will try. The best cheesecake I have tried so far is S & S cheesecake baked in the Bronx & sold in various locations in NYC.

    Jack

  25. Where are they sold ? ? ? ? Poughkeepsie NY location
Love ? strawberry. PLEASE !!! Help me find them.
