COMING SOON: Ben & Jerry’s Limited Batch Chocolate Cherry Garcia Ice Cream

Ben Jerry s Chocolate Cherry Garcia

Over the summer, Ben & Jerry’s released new flavors that were flipped versions of some of their popular options. These Flavor Flips were only available at their Scoop Shops. The first one was Totally Baked, a twist on their Half Baked flavor. That was followed by Tubby Hubby, a flipped version of Chubby Hubby. The third one of the year is Chocolate Cherry Garcia.

Instead of the cherry ice cream that the original Cherry Garcia has, this version features chocolate ice cream with cherries and fudge flakes. The flavor is available now at Scoop Shops nationwide and pints will be available for a limited time at grocery stores at a later date.

COMING SOON: Mtn Dew White Label, Green Label, Mango Lime Kickstart, and Spiked Raspberry Lemonade

Mountain dew white green 885

You weekend warriors might be looking at the Mtn Dew Spiked Raspberry Lemonade and thinking, “Yes! I’m going to get wasted on that someday!” But if you look closely at the poorly lit can, you’ll see the word “non-alcoholic.” So if there isn’t any alcohol, how is it spiked? Prickly pear cactus juice is the answer.

But if you follow the Dew, you know the brand has made it a habit of releasing non-alcoholic beverages that sound alcoholic. See Mountain Dew Dew Shine.

This beverage, along with three other new Mtn Dew varieties, were shown at the 2016 NACS Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The other new drinks were Mtn Dew White Label (a tropical citrus craft soda), Mtn Dew Green Label (a green apple kiwi craft soda), and Mtn Dew Kickstart Mango Lime.

The new beverages will be hitting shelves sometime next year.

COMING SOON: Kellogg’s Cinnamon Frosted Flakes

Kellogg s Cinnamon Frosted Flakes

We’re finally going to get Cinnamon Frosted Flakes in 2017!

Why am I so excited? Because over the past twelve years Kellogg’s has teased consumers with cereals that have come close to it.

Let’s take a trip back to 2004, when Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunctioned during halftime at the Super Bowl, Shrek 2 was the highest grossing film, and Kellogg’s released Tony’s Cinnamon Krunchers. You’d think with Tony the Tiger on the box, a mascot that has represented sugary cereal flakes for DECADES, it would be a cinnamon Frosted Flakes. It was not. Instead it was a “crispy, crunchy, cinnamon rice cereal” similar to Chex.

Now let’s go back to 2010, when jeggings led to nerve damage, Shrek Forever After was the fifth highest grossing film, and Kellogg’s sold a cereal with cinnamon-flavored corn flakes. Oh, but it was not a cinnamon Frosted Flakes. It was Simply Cinnamon Corn Flakes.

But now we will have a new cereal that seems to combine the best parts of the two discontinued cereals. My bowl can’t wait.

COMING SOON: Limited Edition Dunkin’ Donuts Vanilla Latte and Chocolate Mocha Pop-Tarts

Dunkin Donuts Pop Tarts

Next year, we’re getting coffee-flavored Pop-Tarts! Take that, Toaster Strudel!

Kellogg’s has teamed up with Dunkin’ Donuts to offer Frosted Vanilla Latte and Frosted Chocolate Mocha Pop-Tarts. I know what you’re thinking, “Isn’t ‘chocolate mocha’ redundant?” Let’s not focus on that. Instead, let’s focus on how awesome this collaboration is. It’s unknown whether or not they’re caffeinated, but since Pop-Tarts are marketed towards kids, I’m going to bet they’re not. It’s also unknown when exactly they’ll be hitting shelves.

If these Pop-Tarts partnerships are going to be an annual thing, I wonder what we’ll see in 2018. Maybe Baskin-Robbins Pop-Tarts since Dunkin’ Donuts is its sister chain?

COMING SOON: Mistica Foods Cheez-It Cracker Breaded Boneless Chicken Bites

Mistica Foods Cheez It chicken breast bites

If you Google “Cheez It chicken,” you will be given results that contain dozens of recipes to make the dish at home. All of them involve violence towards Cheez-It Crackers. I’m sure some of the instructions include putting the crackers in a Ziploc bag and slamming the bag onto the table or running over a box of the cheese crackers with your car.

But what if you don’t want to do any of that? Well, Kellogg has teamed up with Mistica Foods to offer boneless chicken bites breaded with Cheez-It Crackers.

The cheesy chicken bites are rolling out now to Walmart stores nationwide and will be at other national retailers this winter.
