It looks like our cereal bowls have something to look forward to. It’s unknown when these two cereals will hit shelves, but looking at cereal releases from previous years, my guess is January/February. So I guess we’ll all have to settle for Cookie Crisp if we want to eat a cookie-flavored cereal for breakfast.

Both cereals have no artificial flavors or colors from artificial sources, no high fructose corn syrup, and whole grain as the first ingredient.

It’s that time of year again.

It’s when Pringles starts rolling out their potato crisps in sweet holiday flavors. It’s also when shoppers see said sweet holiday flavors, think sweet Pringles is weird, and then ponder whether they should pick it up.

This year, there are three flavors — one new and two returning. The previously released Pringles Salted Caramel and Pringles Pecan Pie are available exclusively at Dollar General stores, while the new Pringles Sugar Cookie are a Walmart exclusive and will be available in early November. All three will have cans with a new festive sweater design.

The 2016 Holiday Pringles will be sold for a limited time with a suggested retail price of $1.69.

Next year, Mars will rollout a new M&M’s variety — M&M’s Caramel.

The upcoming candy will feature a smooth caramel center surrounded by milk chocolate and coated in a colorful candy shell. It’ll be available in 1.41 oz single packs, a 2.83 ounce Sharing Size, and a 9.6 ounce Sharing Size Stand Up Pouch.

If you’re extremely excited, I’m about to douse that excitement by telling you this flavor won’t be available until May 2017. Not sure why Mars decided to announce the new flavor six months before they’re available. It’s not a Star Wars movie so its hype cannot be rekindled with second and third movie trailers.

Later this month, Hershey’s will unveil their new Hershey’s Cookie Layer Crunch Bars at the annual National Association of Convenience Stores show. But before you add this to your shopping list, you should know they won’t be available nationally until December.

The bars will come in three flavors: Caramel, Vanilla Crème, and Mint. Each one will combine a crunchy cookie texture and a layer of filling that’s wrapped in Hershey’s chocolate. Each piece will be 90-100 calories.

They will be offered in multiple sizes that include a 6.3-ounce bag filled with nine pieces, a 3.5-ounce “XL Bar” with five pieces, a 2.1-ounce “King Size Bar” with three pieces (caramel only), and a 1.4-ounce bar with two pieces (caramel only).

On S’mores Day, August 10, the Girl Scouts of the USA introduced two s’mores-flavored cookies that’ll be for sale in 2017. Yes, we have a long wait. The cookies will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts selling cookies.

The first one is a s’mores-flavored sandwich cookie. It features crunchy graham wafers with a layer of chocolate filling and a layer of marshmallow filling. A serving of two cookies has 150 calories, 7 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 105 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 1 gram of fiber, 10 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of protein

The other s’mores variety is a graham cookie double dipped in a crème icing and a chocolatey coating. Two cookies have 180 calories, 9 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 90 milligrams of sodium, 25 grams of carbohydrates, less than 1 gram of fiber, 16 grams of sugar, and 1 gram of protein.

The two s’mores cookies will be the first new additions to the Girl Scout Cookie lineup since 2015 when Rah-Rah Raisins, Toffee-tastic, and Trios were introduced.
