COMING SOON: Nabisco Oreo Thins

Oreo Thins

Nabisco is set to release a thinner Oreo called Oreo Thins. The cookies will have slimmed down wafers and a thin layer of creme filling.

They will come in 10.1-ounce packages that have about 40 cookies and will be available in three varieties: original, mint, and Golden. The new cookie line will be hitting shelves later this month.

The thin and crispy cookies are new here in the U.S., but they were originally developed for Chinese snackers.

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

For those of you who aren’t keeping track at home, the list of new Oreo flavors introduced this year includes Red Velvet, Cotton Candy, Chocolate Lemon Twist, and S’mores.

However, Limited Edition Brownie Batter Oreo might soon be added to the list.

We do not have any information about when exactly these new cookies will hit shelves, but several photos of the flavor have popped up on social media and they were shown at last month’s Sweet & Snacks Expo in Chicago.

COMING SOON: Tic Tac Mixers (Cherry Cola and Peach Lemonade)

Tic Tac Mixers

Tic Tac has introduced at the 2015 Sweet & Snacks Expo a line of candy called Mixers that change flavor as they melt in your mouth.

The first two varieties are inspired by beverage flavors:

Cherry Cola – changes from a cherry flavor to a cola flavor.

Peach Lemonade – transforms from a peach flavor to a lemonade flavor.

The Tic Tac Mixers line will start hitting shelves in June.

COMING SOON: AMP Energy (Passion Fruit, Strawberry Limeade, Zero Blueberry White Grape, and Zero Watermelon)

AMP Energy Passion Fruit Strawberry Limeade Zero Blueberry White Grape and Zero Watermelon

AMP Energy is getting a revAMP. The line is getting new can designs, new flavors, and getting rid of flavors. AMP Energy Original and Cherry Blast will still be around, but the other flavors I can’t name off the top of my head and only know by can color, like yellow, blue, and purple, have been discontinued.

There are two new AMP Energy flavors (Passion Fruit and Strawberry Limeade) and two new AMP Energy Zero flavors (Blueberry White Grape and Watermelon). The AMP Energy flavors are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and have 156 milligrams of caffeine per 16-ounce can. The AMP Energy Zero flavors have 10 calories, 0 grams of sugar, and 157 milligram of caffeine per can. They are sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium.

According to the AMP Energy website, the new flavors will start appearing on shelves on May 18.

COMING SOON: Trident Layers Swedish Fish Gum

Trident Layers Swedish Fish Gum

Mondelez International is at it again.

They’re combining another of their chewy candy lines with one of their chewing gum lines. Trident Layers Swedish Fish Gum combines the flavor of the red Swedish Fish with lemon. According to @candybarreviews on Twitter, the gum will be released in June 2015.

Stride Gum and Sour Patch Kids were the first Mondelez candy and gum lines to team up. The gum debuted in 2013 with Lime and Redberry flavors. In 2014, Orange and Watermelon flavors were added.

If Mondelez continues to create chewy candy-flavored chewing gum, I hope Dentyne Bassett’s Licorice Candy Allsorts Gum isn’t next.
